On Saturday, December 3, 2016, the World Cup Qualifier starts
In Latvia, the last preparations are taking place before the start of the World Floorball Championship. Latvia's capital city of Riga will host it from 3rd to 11th December 2016. In Latvia, the world championship will be the first time in history so it is clear that the home team driven by its fans will want to show. Our boys have Latvians in the group and given that Latvians have long been no detractors it will be a very interesting match.
Our players have a heavy lottery B this year. Besides domestic Latvia, they play with the unpleasant Nora and finally with the world champions and the best floorball team - Sweden.
At the past championship in Gothenburg we have won bronze medals, so hopefully this year will be able to bring some of the precious metal. The key will be performances in the group and then mainly a strong psychic and medical condition to the medal struggle.
As for the equipment, which makes us the most interested producer, this year, as in previous years, Puma jerseys will have been inspired by soccer brothers. Perhaps it would have been a bit of invention, because the jerseys are pretty boring, but the certainty is certain, and in our regions, the products from the western neighbor have been a favorite item since 1989. Maybe floorball officials could have inspired other sports domestic brands are already starting to promote, yet national teams should equip companies based in that country, notwithstanding the fact that the Czech Republic is the biggest manufacturer of jerseys in Europe and we can really make jerseys. Goalie players will have the classic jersey and trousers from Unihoc - there is nothing else to expect, the same equipment that anyone can buy, nothing uninteresting, perhaps just a split inscription. We have to appreciate Latvians who have equipment from a local company producing goalie jerseys and trousers tailored to Latvian goalkeepers.
The first match kicks off against Norway this Saturday. In particular, matches with Norway and Latvia will be of importance, and it will be very difficult for Sweden, as we have not managed to win this team at the top level. The goal of our team, as coached by Cepek, is to fight for the medal, but the most important will be the opening weekend. He will decide everything.
